Tiller Blades
Tiller blades play a role in ploughing hard and compacted soil and create an ideal environment for crops.
The tiller blades are attached to the rotary of a tractor. They break up compacted soil and cultivate the land.
Weathering
They move the soil to expose it to the air and facilitate weathering.
Leveling
They condition the land by leveling and smoothing the soil surface. They also work to ensure consistent crop growth.
Inversion
They work to mix soil from the upper and lower layers.
Plowing-in
They chop stumps and weeds into small pieces and bury them in the soil.
Soil crushing
They crush hardened soil and let air in.
If you continue to use worn-out tiller blades:
They may prevent you from properly preparing the soil. Some other consequences include accumulation of mud or dirt on the surface of the blades, decreased efficiency leading to loss of horsepower, and increased risk of breakage or detachment which may disrupt the proper functioning of the rotary.
